Is it possible to fail a drug test by eating raw cacao beans? I know that cocaine is made from the Coca Leaf, but would there be any trace of it in the Cacao Bean? I've looked on the net and I found a random source that says no, the chemicals for cocaine is only in the leaf.
Dose any one know for sure?

coca and cacao are two differnt plants entirely.
Theobroma cacao. is the species of the cocoa tree
Coca (Erythroxylon coca) is the coca plant which produces cocaine.

Are cacao beans really a drug, hhmmm, well I am thinking you might be ok , because many bussiness' use this product and if it were something you could be tested for they would have some warning on it. If you are truly worried drink some yellow root before a test, it cleans the system well.There are many other natural roots that do the same and that are not harmful.But I am thinking something that you can but locally without having to be deceptive , then it is safe. I hope this helps. If not you can always tell them it is the Cocao Beans... -

and given how paranoid modern companies are, you never know.
tottally off topic, but the drug that *is* in cocoa, theobromine, has been shown to be better than cocaine based cough suppressiants. so, before you run to teh doctor for drugs, try a bar of deep rich chocolate. -

i am not into drugs at all but i live off of chocaalte of all kinds and sorts
i love this stuff and if i had the money would eat nothing but chocalte
and i have had quite a few drugs tests in my past for a variety of reasons
and they always turn up nagative
so if it was anythign like the real cocane junk
trust me it would show up in my system first
cause i eat and drink it that much
